For the next "GECA Kids" show, the Greater Escambia Council for the Arts are bringing The Jungle Book to Atmore. The classic book, written by Rudyard Kipling, has moved to the live stage and will be performed by the awesome kids of Escambia County. Come and join Mowgli on his adventures with the responsible Bagheera and the loveable Baloo through the jungle. Experience the wacky encounters with different animals all the while avoiding the ominous Shere Khan. GECA always seeks to provide the best in family entertainment, and a big portion of that is getting the kids active and involved. So make sure to come out to audition and see "GECA Kids" production of The Jungle Book!

Being rendered blind and deaf by illness while she was young, Helen Keller is raised in a household where she is pitied and spoiled by her parents. This leads her to grow into a wild and uncontrollable child. Her parents decide to hire Annie Sullivan as Helen's Governess and teacher in hopes of helping their daughter. During her time as governess, Annie teaches Helen both discipline and a form of communication that forever changes the lives of the Keller family.

Fools is a comic fable by Neil Simon, set in the small village of Kulyenchikov, Ukraine. The story follows Leon Steponovich Tolchinsky, a school teacher who takes a new job educating Sophia, the daughter of Dr. Zubritsky and his wife, Lenya. Leon soon learns that there is a curse on the village that makes everyone stupid, but complications ensue when Leon falls in love with a very unlikely person. This comedy is the perfect show for the entire family. Come and join the GECA family for a weekend of laughs!
