Nominations for GECA Board of Directors

Voting will happen on October 6th and in person

Requirements for Board Election:  A candidate must have been a member of GECA for at least 1 calendar year.  They must be current on membership dues and commit to regularly attend Board meetings. They should support GECA shows. Only one member per household will be eligible for Board nomination.

Description of Roles:

CEO 

Schedules and chairs meetings, administers the business end of GECA, oversees or assigns oversight of the Web site and any other public communication or advertisements connected with GECA, assures that GECA standards are met and guidelines are followed.


Assistant CEO

Takes over in the absence of CEO, in charge of the maintenance of the building, assures that GECA standards are met and guidelines are followed and many other duties assigned by the board or CEO.


Secretary

Maintains a record of all meetings.


Treasurer

Takes care of all financial matters, pays bills, makes deposits after shows.


Visual Arts Director

Assists directors with set design when needed, and promotes any GECA artistic presentation.


Webmaster

Maintains website for current and future shows.


Media & Publicity

Liason between Media and GECA. Media includes ALL local newspapers and media outlets.
