The Trip to Bountiful

This is the story of Carrie Watts, an aging widow living with her son and daughter-in-law in a three-room apartment in Houston. Fearing that her presence may be an imposition to others, and chafing under the watchful eye of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Watts imagines that if she can get away and return to her old home in Bountiful, she is sure to regain her strength, dignity, and peace of mind - so she attempts to run away.

Our Fall Musical!
If you've been wanting to get on stage, you don't want to miss this upcoming show. There are two audition dates in August, and the show is scheduled for the third and fourth weekends in October. This is a MUSICAL!

Audition Dates:
August 22nd - 10:00 am
August 24th - 6:30 pm
All auditions will take place at the GECA Theatre.
Come prepared to do a cold reading from the script.

The Greater Escambia Council of the Arts is an all volunteer company which allows us to keep our ticket prices affordable. We invite everyone to become a part of the show.
